      The goal Acquiring knowledge and mastering of statistical methods for analyzing the results of research, epidemiological monitoring, genetic testing. The design and analysis of clinical research in veterinary medicine. Planning experiments.
      The outcome The student is qualified for independent application of statistical operations in everyday work and in the analysis of experimental results. Able to independently create and set up an experiment. It is expected that students can demonstrate concrete understanding in application software package to calculate the statistical value and independently perform statistical analysis.

      Contents of lectures Introduction. Tables and graphs. Measures of central tendency and variation. Theoretical distributions. Pattern. Confidence intervals. Parametric and nonparametric statistics. Statistical hypothesis testing .. .. Analysis of variance analysis trend. Correlation analysis. Linear regression. Curvilinear, multiple regression and correlation. Multivariate methods. - Factor and discriminant analysis. Informatics.
      Contents of exercises Calculation of statistical parameters using the software.
