      The goal Acquiring knowledge on immunity and immunological factors,antigens,organizatiion of the immune system, antibodies,complement,lymphocytes,immunologic reactions and their regulation,immunity of fetuses and neonates,antigen-antibody reactions,defense mechanisms against infections caused by bacteria,fungi and viruses,immune tolerance and immunosuppression,allergy and autoimmunity.
      The outcome The student should acquire basic knowledge on immunity and immunological factors,antigens,organization of the immune system,antibodies,complement,lymphocytes,immunity of fetuses and neonates,antigen-antibody reactions,defense mechanisms against infections caused by bacteria,fungi and viruses,immunomodulation, allergy and autoimmunity .

      Contents of lectures Veterinary immunology is the study of immunity and immunological factors,organization of the immune system,antigens,antibodies,complement,lymphocytes,immunologic reactions,immunity of fetuses and neonates, defense mechanisms against infection caused by pathogenic microorganisms , immune tolerance , immunomodulation,hypersensitivity reactions and autoimmunity.
