The goal | Introducing the perspective and the specifics of veterinary clinical practice and the possibilities for effective preparation for work in clinical practice through the choice of appropriate programs during the study | |||
The outcome | Student should meet the individual forms of veterinary activities, primarily in veterinary clinical practice, understand the importance of an adequate education for the quality of veterinary practice and learn to approach the animal, open card and help the veterinarian during the clinical examination and performing certain procedures | |||

Contents of lectures | Definition of the veterinary profession and forms of veterinarian activities | |||
Contents of exercises | Practice in veterinary clinics at University and in private practices - assisting veterinarians in receiving animals, taking anamnesis, holding, review records, then in the care and feeding of sick animals. Students can choose from a list of veterinary clinic in which they should spend 2 hours per week | |||
