    The goal Acquiring the skills to use the knowledge acquired during the study of veterinary medicine in order to provide answers to various questions from solutions of expertise of courts of all jurisdiction in the Republic of Serbia.
    The outcome The student should know their professional rights, obligations and responsibilities as a provider of services to clients, the rights, obligations and responsibilities of expert witnesses and experts, as well as the types of liability and sanctions arising from the relevant authorities and legal matter, to understand the forensic approach to the assessment of the significance and duration of animal diseases, malfunctioning of food of animal origin and animal feed and understand the importance of the role of expert witnesses in the justice system.

    Contents of lectures The Laws. The legal system and the veterinarian`s role. Expert witness testimony (6). Methods of expertise (2). Forensic evaluation of general pathomorphological changes; forensic evaluation of post-mortem changes (4). Forensic evaluation of viral and bacterial diseases common to several animal species (2). Forensic evaluation of common parasitic disease (2). Forensic evaluation of disease of horses (2); Forensic evaluation of disease cattle. Forensic evaluation of disease of swine (2). Forensic evaluation of disease of sheep and goats (2) Forensic evaluation of disease of dogs (2). Forensic evaluation of diseases of rabbits. Forensic evaluation of bee diseases (2). Injuries animals - forensic assessment (2). The responsibility of a veterinarian; Professional malpractice during operation or in connection with work in the fields of veterinary activities (2).
    Contents of exercises Crime scene investigation. Forensic autopsy to establish the diagnosis and assessment of the duration of disease (30).
