The goal | Completion and connection of theoretical and practical knowledge about all aspects of ethiopathogenesis, diagnostics and therapy of companion animals, in order to form a complete picture about overall pathology of animals in urban housing conditions. | |||
The outcome | Student should know differential diagnosis and therapy of diseases of canine and feline species, exotic small animals, and horses, and independently perform necessary clinical procedures with the aim of making diagnosis and taking appropriate therapy and prevention in all cases of non infectious and infectious diseases, which are common in everyday practice. | |||

Contents of lectures | Ethiology of most important diseases of horses and small animals, differential diagnosis and therapy of diseases of cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urogenital, hemolimphatic, endocrine, nervous, and musculoskeletal system, skin and the senses of equine, small animals, cage birds, exotics and laboratory animals. | |||
Contents of exercises | Interactive learning on cases of different illness, with complete processing of clinical cases which involves diagnostics procedures and therapy. Practical work on equine and small animal clinics. | |||
