    The goal The study of individual organ and organ system diseases as well as pathological processes of specific etiology, course and outcome.
    The outcome Student needs to know the macroscopic and microscopic changes in all systems and organs related to certain pathological conditions with specific etiology and course. Student has to be able to identify and describe the histopathological changes and to make diagnosis.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Pathology of the GIT, liver, biliary system and exocrine pancreas,Pathology of the respiratory system,Pathology of the cardiovascular system,Pathology of the urinary system,Pathology of the endocrine system,Pathology of the hematopoietic system,Pathology of the CNS,Pathology of muscles,bones and joints,Pathology of the skin,Pathology of the reproductive system,Pathology of the eye and ear.
    Contents of exercises Necropsy: Postmortem diagnosis, Necropsy of different animal species, Writing of the necropsy report, macroscopic slides Histopathology: of the gastrointestinal system, Liver, biliary system and exocrine pancreas, Respiratory system, Cardiovascular system, Urinary system, Slide seminar, Hematopoietic system, CNS, Muscles, Skin, Female reproductive system, Male reproductive system.

    Methods of teaching Interactive learning included in theoretical teaching, applying audio-visual methods (Power point presentations, films), Practical teaching – necropsy and macroscopic examination of the animal carcasses, microscopy, identification and description of histopathological changes of certain organ systems.
